  • Celebrate Recovery: This life-changing ministry provides fellowship and celebrates God’s healing power in our lives through the 8 Beatitudes and 12 Biblical steps.
  • Children’s Ministry: Babies, toddlers, children . . . OH MY! Cradling, singing, dancing, laughing and teaching children about Jesus can become your ministry. Your energy, enthusiasm and love for children makes you a leader for Nursery (0-2 years), Preschool (3-5 years), or KidsZone Theatre (1st – 6th grade). Other great opportunities are in the Children’s Clubs, Royal Rangers for boys and Impact (formerly Missionettes) for girls or the Bus Ministry and the Junior Bible Quiz programs are additional exciting areas to minister to our children. A completed background check and attending the children’s orientation class are required.
  • Compassion Ministry: Maybe you are an Auto Mechanic and would like to help others as part of the rotating auto mechanics team that is dispatched to scheduled auto inspections, repairs or consultation to members. If you enjoy visiting and praying for people in the hospital then the Hospital Visitation team is the ministry for you. Still, others need help from Movers and Haulers. The Compassions ministry is a great way to reach out to the community and provide a helping hand to those in need.
  • Cultural Ministry: Como estas? Eres bilingue? This is a great opportunity to become involved in the Spanish or Russian ministry as a Translator, Greeter, Transcriptionist, and Usher or lead a Community Outreach Team.
  • Espresso Café: This fast-paced environment requires Cashiers, Baristas (Specialty Coffee Maker) and Meal Preparation Assistants to meet the needs of hundreds of hungry and thirsty people. Many volunteer positions are available weekdays and weekends for serving Starbucks quality coffees. No experience necessary. We will train.
  • Hospitality Ministry: There are 7 ministries you can choose from: Parking Lot Attendants, Greeters, Welcome Center, Ushers, Security, Medical Team and Visitor Tour Guide. So if you like to smile and talk with people . . . this is your ministry to consider and a great way to get involved at New Beginnings.
  • Kitchen Prep Ministry: Do you enjoy serving and ministering with your culinary and service skills? Consider partnering in the Kitchen Prep Ministry. Throughout the year NBCC has various events that need your tasteful techniques. Postitions available are in Meal Prep and Set-up/Take Down.
  • Maintenance: New Beginnings campus is large and requires constant attention from Custodians, Grounds Keepers, Women’s and Men’s Restroom Attendants, and Room Set-up & Take-down. Whether you like to volunteer weekdays or weekends, days or nights, there is always a place for you on the Maintenance team. Big, small, light and heavy jobs are available for everyone.
  • Men’s Ministry: If you like to be a part of a big team with big ideas, and If you like to structure events for men’s ministry, consider becoming a Men’s ministry Event Coordinator. There is plenty for this team to do in a very big way!
  • Missions Ministry: As a Missions Team Member you can experience first hand what it’s like blessing other communities and cities by assisting in the building of their churches. Requires some domestic travel.
  • Motorcycle Ministry: These bike riders are always looking for new members and to join and plan rides whether riding through the mountains, down the beach, through the country or in and out of our surrounding cities. You will enjoy the scenery, lunches and comradeship of NBCC Riders.
  • Multi Media Ministry: Lights! Camera! Action! Camera Operators, Sound Operators, Computer Operators, Lighting Operators, Switchers Operators, Song Slide Operators and CD Duplicators are the teams of volunteers who make services, live productions, filming and events come to life. Previous experience is helpful but we can easily train.
  • Music Ministry: Whether you’d like to use your singing talent or musical instrument talent, the Music ministry has incredible opportunities such as singing as a Choir Member or becoming an Instrumentalist.
  • Office Administration: Throughout the week volunteer teams converge on the campus to assist various ministries with administrative work on the Bulletin Insert Team, Computer Entry Team, Phone Follow-up Team, Front Desk Reception, and Photocopy Team. Hours are flexible.
  • Outreach Ministry: Do you enjoy reaching our community and neighbors sharing "We Do Church Differently?" Come join this ministry either in Community Neighborhood outreaches or the Tri-Met Outreach.
  • Prison Ministry: Interested in reaching those who are presently incarcerated? Join in a ministry that takes God’s love and Word to a place often forgotten.
  • Senior Ministry: If you enjoy working with our Senior Saints, this is the place for you. Areas available are in Follow-up or as an Event Coordinator.
  • Special Events (Seasonal): At New Beginnings we have a variety of Special Events throughout the year. Would you like to be a part of these exciting events? These events are seasonal, so the commitment can be one-time, or as needed. You can choose from Food Service, Fund Raiser events, Product Sales, Set-up/Take down, or Ticket Sales.
  • Sports Ministry: Here is some fun for you. Enjoy leading a scenic hike with the Hiking Ministry or run or walk an event or race with the NBCC Running Team. And, if you are a Coach, Assistant Coach, Umpire, Instructor or Administrator why not start a new ministry. Specify which sport you would like to volunteer when filling out the volunteer application.
  • The Net Small Groups Ministry: Home Host: If you are interested in meeting with other Christians throughout your community then becoming involved in a small group is a great start. NBCC has small groups in various communities and on the church campus. Pick up a Small Groups booklet listing all small groups at the welcome center. If you would like to become a Small Group Home Host-Lead or Assist the Small Groups Pastor with administrative work simply fill out a volunteer application.
  • Volunteer Ministry: Join the Follow-Up Team or help others find their ministry by becoming a S.H.A.P.E Guide. S.H.A.P.E. Guides are trained to discuss a persons “calling” by considering one’s Spiritual gifts, Heart, Abilities, Personality and Experiences (S.H.A.P.E). This position requires training with a S.H.A.P.E Guide. Or, if you enjoy Data Entry and working on computers consider the Volunteer Ministry. Must be proficient in Word, Excel and databases.
  • Women’s Ministry: Assist the Women’s Ministry as part of the Events Coordinator Team or with Follow-up calls and letters. There are a lot of fun administrative responsibilities such as organizing small groups, Bible studies, classes, retreats, banquets, etc.
  • Youth Ministry: Choose from Junior High School (6th – 8th grade) or High School (9th – 12th grade) youth ministries. It’s easy to get involved as Greeters, Bulletin Stuffers, Snack & Donut Tables, Kiosk Welcome Attendant, Ushers, Set-Up and Tear-Down Crews, or volunteer throughout the week doing Administrative help. An interview by the Youth Pastor is required and a completed background is required for all adults.
