What's On My Mind... Advice to Dads PDF Print E-mail
Written by Pastor Brad Makowski
Sunday, June 21 2009 00:00

The greatest thing to happen to me in life beyond finding Jesus and my sweet wife Lisa, is being a dad! As much as an honor it is to be called "Dad" by Nathan, Eric, Levi, Ashley and Bryce it has probably been the role in life that I have been most challenged. I have failed many times letting life push my schedule away from the better choices I could have made as a dad. The best advice I can give on this Father's Day to dads is this: don't look back at yesterday's failures but decide today to become the father to those who call you "Dad" patterned after our heavenly Father whose love never fails! Remind them all how much you love them again and again and again! I hope you have a happy Father's Day every day.
